Let’s talk: Audacity
Let’s Talk: Waiting
Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.
The Bible
Waiting is a delay or pause
Waiting can seems so gruesome when have been praying diligently about something. Whether you are waiting for love, job promotion, waiting on healing in your body, etc. waiting can be gruesome, MAN! It could sometimes be compared to agony if you dwell on the waiting process for too long. I have learned that everything is a process and whether the process takes; days, months, or years we must adjust our posture in the waiting. Whatever you are waiting on it is still yours even if the wait seems forever. If you know what God has promised you that’s all you need to keep the faith.
I have cried because I’ve been waiting so long, I’ve been so tired and felt my passion was gone it’s like what’s the point, because waiting can make what you are waiting for feel hopeless or unattainable.
I know how it feels to believe that you are too old or that you feel like so much time has gone by…know that whatever you are waiting for is worth the wait.
Proverbs 13:12 Amplified
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
I had a dream about a word
Bible
Advent this word is a season of the liturgical year observed in most Christian denominations as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at the Second Coming.
Advent means it’s finally here
it means the introduction of something important
the synonyms are arrival. emergence… surfacing…. appearance
the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.
in meaning different languages this word means the same
it is an arrival that had been awaited… especially if something momentous
Revelation 19:7-9
New International Version
7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
Esther is in preparation for her husband or the King how amazing they smelt was that a sign of preparation.
The prescribed treatments are found in Esther 2:8-12
12 “Before she could go into the king, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments, prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfumes and cosmetics.”
Esther fasted 3 days 3 nights bf approaching the King
Waiting can make anyone anxious and Anxiety can be like holding your breath waiting for permission to breath
Life… Life can be something else
it’s like my GPS is rerouting or stalling and I’m waiting to get a signal to where I’m supposed to go next
as I wait on the father, I don’t want to miss what he is doing in this time
honestly, I believe when we are saying we are waiting on God…God is waiting on us so that he can fulfill in us all that he has promised…Romans 8:26
Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
as I wait on the father, I don’t want to miss what he is doing in this time
Wait on God’s eternal covenant of peace…
though it may tarry wait for it so
While meditating on Habakkuk 2:2-3 though it tarries wait for it… wait for it!
Habakkuk 2:2-3
New King James Version
2 Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time.
But at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it.
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.
I also thought about how Jesus’s return and that although he hasn’t come, we await his return
Philippians 3:19-21
Amplified Bible
19 whose fate is destruction, whose god is their belly [their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity], and whose glory is in their shame—who focus their mind on earthly and temporal things. 20 But [we are different, because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; 21 who, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself, will [not only] transform [but completely refashion] our earthly bodies so that they will be like His glorious resurrected body.
I also thought about how Abraham and Zechariah had babies in their late years
How Hannah and Sarah desired to bear children and it came to pass
I even thought about joseph, job, and David. Joseph had a dream that he held on to but went through a process to get to it… David was anointed king but didn’t take his rightful position until it the appointed time
Jesus came to save and fulfill the law and individuals didn’t even recognize him even after death…
Jesus is faithful to perfect everything that concerning you that’s (Psalm 138:8)
God can bless in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13)
As you wait change posture to thankfulness knowing that God has you and hasn’t forgotten about you.
I want to be sensitive to the Holy spirit when he tells me to hush or shut up…or be thankful…I don’t want to miss God because, I’m uncomfortable –as I know this is only for a little while.
I was inspired by an email I received by Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur entitled “Still vs. Stationary” –to know that I’m in a place of stillness and not stagnation gives me faith. I want to take advantage of this stillness; while you are in wait take advantage of that time learning to listen more than speak. I must apologize holy spirit if I have grieved u
I know God has me still.
I know God is hiding me (Psalm 91).
Ask God what place you are in.
Remember that praise confuses the enemy because you’re creating an atmosphere different from what your circumstances look like…
Waiting can be difficult… but trust the Lord and lean not unto your own understanding… trust that this wait isn’t in vain and that he has heard every prayer and seen every tear. Trust the process.
Let’s pray
Heavenly Father we come to you thanking you for everything that you’ve done for us…God in this waiting time we ask that you please Heavenly Father be with us and cover us in the name of Jesus. We know that as we wait Lord Jesus… that you’re with us we know that you do not withhold any good thing from us. Heavenly Father we love you and we thank you for everything that you’ve done for us in advance. God, we praise your mighty name, and we honor you. God helps us in his waiting time to be productive and get the best out of the process out of waiting. We know that though we’re waiting… whatever is designed for us…It will come because that’s what your word says, and your word does not lie. I thank you God for preparation and that we will have the wisdom to go into the thing(s) that we have waited on. Help my brothers and my sisters to not feel as though they’re Waiting in Vain… allow us to have peace as we’re praying for the things, we wait on in the name of Jesus…I pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding as we pray and wait on the Lord…Your word says to wait on the Lord and he will renew our strength… we know this is true so we honor you and we praise your mighty name… in Jesus name we pray amen
I love you

BECOMING: EVOLUTION
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
-Maya Angelou
I have been noticing that I am “Becoming.”
Becoming– to unfold or grow into being/developing
God is dealing with my inner being and it is exuding outwardly: Yes, I have much work to do on the inside and outside, but I do know I am transforming. I woke up thinking about the song….Big Girls Don’t Cry -Fergie. I believe this was a reflection…telling me I need to deal with myself…my insecurities and clear my mind. I have been focusing on being a present mom and everything else for years that I don’t even know who I am; I’ve really gotten loss in the sauce. This reflection was my first realization that I am changing. You see as you evolve…you begin to get uncomfortable with the place/position you are in and that’s indicates that it’s time to change or a change has already begun.
Evolution– a moderate progression/development of a thing
I am becoming a butterfly (hints why I love them so much). It is time to shed my skin. I am no longer looking to others for validation…not friends, not men, not my family. NO ONES VALIDATION MATTERS ANYMORE! I look to the ONE!
The woman that is being awakened within me…God is raising to life and calling forth. He has revived me. I will become a better mom, servant, friend, daughter, and entity.
Hebrews 12:2 English Standard Version (ESV) 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
1 Corinthians 13:11 English Standard Version (ESV) 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
For so long I have lived as a child/teenager in an adult body…it is as if I have been stuck in time. The woman that is arising within me is becoming: more confident and bolder. The child/teenager in me is like a shadow that lurks…maybe my comfort has become my crutch which allows the fear of letting go and evolving into the woman I need to be. I don’t want to let my past go; however, I don’t want to be stuck in my past. It is over due to write a new chapter… forget that… its time to write a new book. Although, I am continuing this life and not forgetting my past… it is time to shed the cocoon and become the butterfly that I know I am. The woman that God is restoring and sculpting.
Isaiah 64:8 English Standard Version (ESV) 8 But now, O Lord, you are our Father;we are the clay, and you are our potter;we are all the work of your hand.
I leave you with this: You may have envisioned a better part of yourself and haven’t reached that goal yet… just know God is a God that sees you and He will be whatever you need HIM to be. HE shows us fragments to give us hope for a brighter future; the rest is just relying on him completely and enjoying every bit of the journey. Yes, you may feel stretched, twisted, and uncomfortable, but the ending result of your situation is the development of your becoming. Look at it like this: we are all fragment pieces of glass that make up beautiful pieces of mosaic. If we see in full… the ending result, why would we need God; what would be the pursuit to draw near to HIM. At the end of the day God gets the glory from it all.
Romans 8:28 New King James Version (NKJV) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Prayer:
Lord, guide us…
We are listening…
We belong to you…
We cannot and will not look to others for validation
We are not rejected, because your word tells us that we are written in the palm of your hands (Isaiah 49:16)
You care about our very being (Acts 17:28)
Thank you for awakening us to become what you have design us to become
Thank you for speaking and breathing life into those dry bones… that were lifeless and has/will arouse to become a new thing
Thank you for calling us forth
Lord we are available…We are willing
Thank Father for seeing us
Amen!
I Love Y’all…Be@Peace!
Identity In Christ
Where does your identity come from? It’s not possible to know who we are without knowing who’s we are. Identity in Christ! Knowing your identity in Christ defeats the enemy from showing or telling you who you are.
I want to talk about who God says I am/you are, but before we understand who we are in Christ; we need to know who God is….
The bible clearly states who He is from Genesis to Revelation. He is God of the universe the Creator of ALL.
John 1 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
In Exodus God appeared to Moses to give instructions to the Israelite’s and Moses said who should I, say you are, and THE LORD responded “tell them, I AM who I AM/ I AM who ever you need me to be (Exodus 3:14).” See God IS… period. I could just stop right here, but I will go further. Throughout HIS whole word he has revealed himself and what he was in every situation. In Egypt, he delivered Israel out of the hands of pharaoh through the leader Moses. God uses his people to show his glory on this earth. He blessed the womb of Sarah, Hannah and many more. He took care of Hagar and her son Ishmael. Which shows he is a provider. Job was a good man and Satan wanted to get him to denounce God. See the enemy knew Job to be a good man that hadn’t really gone through much…God allowed Satan to test him, however,
the enemy wasn’t allowed to kill him. So, during this time he lost a lot and was sick from head to toe but, he never denounced the Lord. He actually, received twice as much as he had before and lived years later to enjoy it; he knew the Lord as a restorer and healer and the I AM.
In John, the Lord explained that he is the word and the word was the Lord and the word is the Lord. God is sovereign (Psalm 115:3). He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, he can be with you and somewhere else at the same time. He is a Provider, Healer, and Lover of our soul. Revelation 22:13, says that HE is, the Beginning and End, the First and Last, Alpha and Omega.
Now that we know who God is, we will know what HE (his word) says about us…I can go on forever but, I’ll name a few and leave the rest for you to study.
- You are loved (1 John 4:9-11)
- You are a friend of God (John 15:15)
- A Masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10)
- You are chosen (1 Peter 2:9-19)
It’s hard to believe these things when you are a non-Christian or even when you are a believer. So, I pray for the unbeliever that you ask Jesus into your heart as your Lord and savior and trust that he will reveal to you who HE is and can be in your life Romans 10:9-10. To the believer I pray that God will restore your faith and create solidarity in your heart so that you know– that you know who God says HE is and who you are in HIM. The best thing to know is salvation is free and we don’t have to work for it .
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
After salvation we are required to seek God, build a relationship with him, honor and obey him and live holy as possible.. with God all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26 English Standard Version (ESV)
26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- You are fearfully and wonderfully made, (Psalm 139). I am free and not bound who the son sets free is free indeed, (John 8:36).
- I have the fruit of the spirit verse, I am bold, because he didn’t give me the Spirit of Fear, power, love and self-discipline/sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)
- I am protected (Psalm 91) know that God has you and he will send His angels to help you He doesn’t slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121)
I want to close with letting you know that God is the same today always and forever (Hebrew 13:8). He doesn’t fail and that is confidence knowing we serve a God that is solid so our Identity in Him does not have to waver. He tells us who we are, not the world or the enemy of our minds. Rest assured that you are loved and whenever you are insecure, or doubt know that God is faithful, and he left HIS word and Holy spirit with us to remind us and guide us.
Remember Be@Peace! I love you!
He may not be here in the physical with us now, but as believers he left us with His Spirit the Holy Spirit.
Sometimes you need that extra push!
First, I would like to thank everyone for tuning in to my first post. Thank you! Thank you! O and feel free to leave a comment. Let’s converse.
So, I started this blog and it has been on my mind to use my voice through my writings and other avenues for a very long time. I’m not the best writer, but that’s ok😏. Anyways, I’ve wanted to blog for a while now and finally had the unction and courage to do so today and I am so happy I did! Of course, when you’re starting a new journey you would love support from loved ones and those who are closest to you and when it isn’t received you may feel hesitant to proceed–rather it’s a minor goal/dream or a major one— you desire support.
Today is one of those days I didn’t feel as though I had all the support I needed to proceed with posting my first blog…don’t get me wrong I would have posted eventually, but my energy would have been different.
Having said all of this sometimes you need that driving force to help you start/complete your sail, no matter how independent or strong you or others may think you are it helps to know you have that extra support.
This is always with me and I share this with you: God, gives you the strength you need and where you lack he gives you HIS sufficient grace.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” ~Corinthians 12:9
I’m happy to say that I received the support I needed to post my first blog and it feels dang good 😁! I actually feel a little like “Carrie Bradshaw” (Sarah Jessica Parker) 💅🏾.
I know this was short and random, but I needed to start somewhere🤷🏾♀️. I appreciate everyone for reading!
She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails.
