Let’s Talk: Watch Your Mouth

This message was inspired by something I’ve been going through for almost 2 years and a dream i had the other night…
The enemy doesn’t know anything but our past and our present…..our future is a mystery…. And all the info he has is what we speak… Our present and past… And that we belong to the father and what the word says about us. because the enemy knows the word (which a lot of us don’t study) he knows that God works everything for our good….So his job is to distract us with our past and present andhave us anxious about the future…(cloudy)…Doubtful… Angry…. Reckless or Busy… So that we don’t focus on His promises and the words God says are true in his word….God is not an author of confusion. The thing is God is so solid he knows the beginning and end… that is why we can confidently rest in him and his promises…It’s important to speak life and those things that God has promised in his word and to you… Speak life no matter what your situation may look like… Remember that praise and gratefulness confuses the enemy. The enemy knows what we speak out of our mouths and our patterns… think about it when you have an opponent or an adversary more than likely they have studied your every move and even paid attention to your weaknesses. The best thing is to get into your word pray so that God can reveal you to you and show you how to move. Energy is real and when you pollute your atmosphere with negativity by actions or your words…your world will flow how you set it…. meaning words have power… energy has power. If we want to change our circumstances speak to them… Those things that our pure, lovely, admirable, noble true (Philippians 4:8). No matter how your current situation looks there is always an ending or a beginning…. speak life…satan only knows what you give him access too…draw near to God… stay under his pavilion and protection..trust the God in you for the direction(s) to take…remember you only trust God as much as you know him…don’t allow your current situation to determine your future destination…confuse the enemy with your praise, prayer, worship and positive affirmations.

I love you

Identity In Christ

Where does your identity come from? It’s not possible to know who we are without knowing who’s we are. Identity in Christ! Knowing your identity in Christ defeats the enemy from showing or telling you who you are.

I want to talk about who God says I am/you are, but before we understand who we are in Christ; we need to know who God is….

The bible clearly states who He is from Genesis to Revelation. He is God of the universe the Creator of ALL.

John 1 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Word Became Flesh
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

In Exodus God appeared to Moses to give instructions to the Israelite’s and Moses said who should I, say you are, and THE LORD responded “tell them, I AM who I AM/ I AM who ever you need me to be (Exodus 3:14).” See God IS… period. I could just stop right here, but I will go further. Throughout HIS whole word he has revealed himself and what he was in every situation. In Egypt, he delivered Israel out of the hands of pharaoh through the leader Moses. God uses his people to show his glory on this earth. He blessed the womb of Sarah, Hannah and many more. He took care of Hagar and her son Ishmael. Which shows he is a provider. Job was a good man and Satan wanted to get him to denounce God. See the enemy knew Job to be a good man that hadn’t really gone through much…God allowed Satan to test him, however,

the enemy wasn’t allowed to kill him. So, during this time he lost a lot and was sick from head to toe but, he never denounced the Lord. He actually, received twice as much as he had before and lived years later to enjoy it; he knew the Lord as a restorer and healer and the I AM.

In John, the Lord explained that he is the word and the word was the Lord and the word is the Lord. God is sovereign (Psalm 115:3).  He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, he can be with you and somewhere else at the same time. He is a Provider, Healer, and Lover of our soul. Revelation 22:13, says that HE is, the Beginning and End, the First and Last, Alpha and Omega.

Now that we know who God is, we will know what HE (his word) says about us…I can go on forever but, I’ll name a few and leave the rest for you to study.

  • You are loved (1 John 4:9-11)
  • You are a friend of God (John 15:15)
  • A Masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10)
  • You are chosen (1 Peter 2:9-19)

It’s hard to believe these things when you are a non-Christian or even when you are a believer. So, I pray for the unbeliever that you ask Jesus into your heart as your Lord and savior and trust that he will reveal to you who HE is and can be in your life Romans 10:9-10. To the believer I pray that God will restore your faith and create solidarity in your heart so that you know– that you know who God says HE is and who you are in HIM. The best thing to know is salvation is free and we don’t have to work for it .

 Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

After salvation we are required to seek God, build a relationship with him, honor and obey him and live holy as possible.. with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:26 English Standard Version (ESV)
26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Remember in God:

  • You are fearfully and wonderfully made, (Psalm 139). I am free and not bound who the son sets free is free indeed, (John 8:36).
  • I have the fruit of the spirit verse, I am bold, because he didn’t give me the Spirit of Fear, power, love and self-discipline/sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)
  • I am protected (Psalm 91) know that God has you and he will send His angels to help you He doesn’t slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121)

I want to close with letting you know that God is the same today always and forever (Hebrew 13:8). He doesn’t fail and that is confidence knowing we serve a God that is solid so our Identity in Him does not have to waver. He tells us who we are, not the world or the enemy of our minds. Rest assured that you are loved and whenever you are insecure, or doubt know that God is faithful, and he left HIS word and Holy spirit with us to remind us and guide us.

Remember Be@Peace!  I love you!

He may not be here in the physical with us now, but as believers he left us with His Spirit the Holy Spirit.
