Let’s Talk: Rejection

Rejection is just protection and redirection

Rejection is being pushed away or denied

Let’s be real most of my life this is one thing I’ve struggled with in friendships, relationships, familial, and socially throughout life.

I’ve been rejected by guys all my life… even when I was in a relationship …so that makes it so much easier for me to be single. When I was younger the guys that rejected me were because I wasn’t light enough, too thin, or not pretty enough. In high school, I wasn’t wild enough or thick enough. As an adult, it would be said “what do you have to offer.” That my physical body isn’t good enough or I’m not light enough, too strong, or too guarded. Like bruh what is it? Therefore, in the relationship area it’s easy for me to be single and abstinent. Don’t let me tell the guy I’m abstinent— that’s a whole story by itself.

In friendships… I’m either “too weird” or don’t fit “the crowd”… I’m “too deep” or “too sensitive”. This caused me to learn more about me learning …that I’m an empathy and that’s my sensitivity and that I’m too deep because it means I take time to analyze a situation instead of just being surface all the time. Me being weird because is because I’m a child of Christ an introvert and I think differently…I love the arts and I don’t dress like the culture expects me to.

Family, this is the origin of my rejection. Family rejection can have you bound and enslaved because these are the people you know from the beginning and they shape your views and perception of life and others… so rejection is tough when coming from family. They reject you when you don’t do what they expect of you and can’t control you because you are chosen. You know you’re different and there’s another way God is taken you but there are few that understand even if the few aren’t your family. When you fall and need a family that rejects you, they tell you how “not enough you are” and throw what they call “failure” in your face while praising themselves in your weakness.

Yoooo… rejection is something and can even produce; loneliness, fear of rejection, and fear of failure, which creates procrastination because you believe you aren’t equipped or good enough.

I know God chose me because every time… through every rejection, he’s there to comfort me and covers me.

I am not playing victim like… I’ve been great or like I’ve never rejected anyone, but this is real and something people need to deal with.

Rejection makes you feel like you aren’t enough… like what you have to offer is flawed.

Its clear rejection is inevitable but when it’s always apparent in one’s life it can become a stronghold. Rejection can cause voids that we may not be aware of… it could be anything… sex… suicidal thoughts… mutilated your body… drugs alcohol… until you deal with the root or cast down the thoughts it will continue to resurface and try to overtake you.

The enemy is a trickster, and his voice appears like yours.

If you are rejected and that is something you dealt with all your life… meaning the prominent thing, and every time you are rejected you talk to yourself or listen to the voice in your head that says you aren’t good enough…  instead of taking hold of it and saying you are what God says you are and repeating those things that are positive… you can fall into the trap of those negative thoughts… which allows you to be entangled into a web that is harder to get out of. The root of rejection is deception because the enemy wants you to believe that is part of your identity and by being ok with it and accepting the lies of the enemy, you’ll always feel rejected.  Rejection not only comes alone but it comes with addictions… cutting your body… jealousy… anxiety…. depression. etc.

Rejection is only one stronghold but a stronghold that most people deal with.

Rejection can be a beast if you believe the lies attached to it. The truth is what God’s word says about you…which is… I’m fearfully and wonderfully made… I am more than a conqueror. I am the head and not the tail I am above and not beneath.

Let’s Pray

Heavenly father I asked that everyone who is feeling rejected… you help them to know their true identity and what your word says about them at the very foundation. Help us to know that your words are true and give us the strength and wisdom to recognize anything that goes against our identity in you … so that we are able to cast down every vain imagination that exalts itself against the mind of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)… allow them to let you be the Ruler of their souls so that holy spirit can fully manifest in them…. and Lord I pray for unbelievers that they come to know you and learn who you are… Lord you bore our sins and you died for us so that we may reign with you so that we may have love and life abundantly… life isn’t for when we die but for this life too here on earth…we thank you, father, that we can approach the throne boldly… you are so awesome and incredible thank you, Lord. I pray that the root of rejection is pulled up now and that you fill this void with your perfect love and that the individuals accept your perfect love and fruit of the spirit. I love you for never leaving us and always loving us not under conditions but unconditionally. Let your glory shine through us Lord and change our minds to walk in confidence and assurance… in you which eliminates us being bound to what the enemy says about us or what our circumstances say or has been said about us in Jesus’ name, we thank you, father, amen.

I leave you with this remember that the chief cornerstone was rejected. Matthew 21:42-44

I Love you

Let’s Talk: Waiting

Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.

The Bible

Waiting is a delay or pause

Waiting can seems so gruesome when have been praying diligently about something. Whether you are waiting for love, job promotion, waiting on healing in your body, etc. waiting can be gruesome, MAN! It could sometimes be compared to agony if you dwell on the waiting process for too long. I have learned that everything is a process and whether the process takes; days, months, or years we must adjust our posture in the waiting. Whatever you are waiting on it is still yours even if the wait seems forever. If you know what God has promised you that’s all you need to keep the faith.

I have cried because I’ve been waiting so long, I’ve been so tired and felt my passion was gone it’s like what’s the point, because waiting can make what you are waiting for feel hopeless or unattainable.

I know how it feels to believe that you are too old or that you feel like so much time has gone by…know that whatever you are waiting for is worth the wait.

Proverbs 13:12 Amplified

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.

I had a dream about a word

Advent this word is a season of the liturgical year observed in most Christian denominations as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at the Second Coming.

Advent means it’s finally here

it means the introduction of something important

the synonyms are arrival. emergence… surfacing…. appearance

the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.

in meaning different languages this word means the same

it is an arrival that had been awaited… especially if something momentous

Revelation 19:7-9

New International Version

7 Let us rejoice and be glad

    and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen, bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
Esther is in preparation for her husband or the King how amazing they smelt was that a sign of preparation.
The prescribed treatments are found in Esther 2:8-12
12 “Before she could go into the king, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments, prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfumes and cosmetics.”

Esther fasted 3 days 3 nights bf approaching the King

Waiting can make anyone anxious and  Anxiety can be like holding your breath waiting for permission to breath

Life… Life can be something else

it’s like my GPS is rerouting or stalling and I’m waiting to get a signal to where I’m supposed to go next

as I wait on the father, I don’t want to miss what he is doing in this time

honestly, I believe when we are saying we are waiting on God…God is waiting on us so that he can fulfill in us all that he has promised…Romans 8:26

Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

as I wait on the father, I don’t want to miss what he is doing in this time

Wait on God’s eternal covenant of peace…

though it may tarry wait for it so

While meditating on Habakkuk 2:2-3 though it tarries wait for it… wait for it!

Habakkuk 2:2-3
New King James Version
2 Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time.
But at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it.
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

I also thought about how Jesus’s return and that although he hasn’t come, we await his return

Philippians 3:19-21
Amplified Bible
19 whose fate is destruction, whose god is their belly [their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity], and whose glory is in their shame—who focus their mind on earthly and temporal things. 20 But [we are different, because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; 21 who, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself, will [not only] transform [but completely refashion] our earthly bodies so that they will be like His glorious resurrected body.

I also thought about how Abraham and Zechariah had babies in their late years

How Hannah and Sarah desired to bear children and it came to pass

I even thought about joseph, job, and David. Joseph had a dream that he held on to but went through a process to get to it… David was anointed king but didn’t take his rightful position until it the appointed time

Jesus came to save and fulfill the law and individuals didn’t even recognize him even after death…

Jesus is faithful to perfect everything that concerning you that’s (Psalm 138:8)

God can bless in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13)

As you wait change posture to thankfulness knowing that God has you and hasn’t forgotten about you.

I want to be sensitive to the Holy spirit when he tells me to hush or shut up…or be thankful…I don’t want to miss God because, I’m uncomfortable –as I know this is only for a little while.

I was inspired by an email I received by Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur entitled “Still vs. Stationary” –to know that I’m in a place of stillness and not stagnation gives me faith. I want to take advantage of this stillness; while you are in wait take advantage of that time learning to listen more than speak. I must apologize holy spirit if I have grieved u

I know God has me still.

I know God is hiding me (Psalm 91).

Ask God what place you are in.

Remember that praise confuses the enemy because you’re creating an atmosphere different from what your circumstances look like…

Waiting can be difficult… but trust the Lord and lean not unto your own understanding… trust that this wait isn’t in vain and that he has heard every prayer and seen every tear. Trust the process.

Let’s pray

Heavenly Father we come to you thanking you for everything that you’ve done for us…God in this waiting time we ask that you please Heavenly Father be with us and cover us in the name of Jesus. We know that as we wait Lord Jesus… that you’re with us we know that you do not withhold any good thing from us. Heavenly Father we love you and we thank you for everything that you’ve done for us in advance. God, we praise your mighty name, and we honor you. God helps us in his waiting time to be productive and get the best out of the process out of waiting. We know that though we’re waiting… whatever is designed for us…It will come because that’s what your word says, and your word does not lie. I thank you God for preparation and that we will have the wisdom to go into the thing(s) that we have waited on. Help my brothers and my sisters to not feel as though they’re Waiting in Vain… allow us to have peace as we’re praying for the things, we wait on in the name of Jesus…I pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding as we pray and wait on the Lord…Your word says to wait on the Lord and he will renew our strength… we know this is true so we honor you and we praise your mighty name… in Jesus name we pray amen

I love you

Let’s Talk: Royalty

The one thing that separates us from obtaining our full identity in Christ is a lack of knowledge. Evangelist google 😏..describes knowing —as being fully aware of something, “done in full awareness or consciousness”. Lack of knowledge can be a hindrance —-as a matter of fact, the bible says we perish because of lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6. We bend, we fold, we shrink, because we don’t know who’s we are and we don’t affirm what God’s word says about us. God is never shaken because he knows who HE is…there is no wavering or uncertainties in him. Knowing who God is and his unwillingness to waver under any circumstances should give us confidence and assurance of our position here on earth and in heaven.

Jesus is our standard of measure and alignment.

What separates a king or queen (royalty) from the ordinary– is their posture, authority, power, dignity. We as royalty should never be moved or shaken. Walk in your authority and know your position.

1 Peter 2:9

New International Version

9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Holy Bible

I leave you with this keep your posture and walk in your authority, because you are royalty….we sit in the heavenly realms with the KING OF KINGS.

Ephesians 2:6

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

Let’s Talk: Humiliation

“I thought I heard from God”… “I thought I was led by the holy spirit.” These are the thoughts that came to me when things all of a sudden came to a halt. the halt wasn’t the problem because my faith is solid— I’m used to maneuvering, but what do you do when your plans are interrupted? Lord, why have you forsaken me is the first question I asked when things began to change direction or in my mind crumble. I have people looking at me crazy…I have my kids looking at me like mommy you have to handle this going from hotel to hotel sleeping in my car, rejected from family; All because I trusted “THE VOICE” that told me to go. I still can’t believe I drove all the way across the country to lay my head down it took us 10 days ( that’s another story for a different blog). I know the holy spirit led me to take a step of faith so I did and everything seem to go left after I took a faith leap. I lost almost everything.

HUMILIATIONembarrassment, shame, to humble

I had a dream that this guy quoted this scripture that was also given to me by a wise lady…Matthew 23:12. I must be feeling humiliated. I never thought that humiliation was what I was feeling. I didn’t take the moment to feel I just knew that I had to survive and handle things that were slowly crumbling. At times you become so engulfed with the survival of life you become so numb or desensitize that you can block what God is trying to reveal to you. I had gotten so used to handling things (leaning onto my own strength) even after prayer. Although I know or believed I knew what the Lord was telling me I still didn’t surrender all areas of my life …I didn’t surrender my anxious thoughts. I wanted so badly to prevent failing or disappointing my children that I would do anything even going back into survival mode to keep us afloat. I didn’t realize that this was my pattern of survival and that it would eventually lead me to this halt.

Lean Not Unto Your Own Understanding

I know God deals with the heart. I am afraid, anxious, angry, embarrassed, confused, rejected, and fearful. I have nothing but my kids, my faith, and I’m literally starting over in a place of the unknown. The scripture I hear is Matthew 23:12 it talks about humility and pride; it speaks on how God honors humility but the pride will eventually be bought down. What’s funny is that I thought I gave God all of me…I thought I surrendered everything, but It is evident that I didn’t. To the place(s) God is taken me I needed completely surrender–even my anxious thoughts.
I want to be humble. The three people that came to mind during this time are Job, Joseph, and Jesus who were all humiliated. Job lost everything only to be exalted after and rewarded with double. Joseph lost everything was counted out by his brothers and thrown in a pit to die, but he was exalted later; he even told his brothers after everything that occurred; “you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good”- Genesis 50:20. Then you have the Kings of Kings, Jesus who was betrayed, denied, rejected, and humiliated, but he still walked in his purpose—upright. He never shrunk to the standards of what naysayers believed. In the garden of Gethsemane, he asked for the cup to be taken from him but then surrendered because he wanted the will of God. He gave his anxious thoughts to the father. He amongst all was humiliated, beaten, and mocked for us all and for the greater purpose. The King of all, Deity, left his throne went literally through hell and back for us. He never shrunk because of what others said about him he knew who he was and knew the purpose of his why.

The other night I told God, that people are mocking me saying “where is her God”…like in Psalm 42:3. What do you do when you know God is near, but he seems silent?

God gets the glory no matter what.

Pride is so much more than not asking for help… it’s not surrendering your whole being to God and leaning to your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5-6
New International Version
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

This place of humiliation is where I learned vulnerability, surrender, and how impatient I am. I have learned how to love others while feeling rejected and unloved. In this place, I am truly becoming free from the bounds of unforgiveness (of myself and others), shame, and guilt. I learned that forgiveness is different when you have to confront it head-on and not from a distance or in our busyness. It is easier to forgive from a distance.

Stop doing things in your own strength trust GOD lean not into your own understanding

During this place of humiliation, I keep hearing God say “do not lean onto your own strength… trust me, talk to me.” I keep leaning into My own strength especially when I feel like a leeway to do it on my own. In the new place and season, he is taken me I have to learn vulnerability in another way. Just when you think you trust in God, HE challenges you to continually surrender. He wants us to take the “I” out of everything and replace it with “HIM”.

I leave you with this:

You see in the place of humiliation it’s more than just being embarrassed or feeling ashamed. In this place, it is humbling, not false humility, but the humility to see God in every area of your life.

Psalm 127
1 Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain

BE@Peace ✌🏾♥️🦋

I Persevered✌🏾♥️🦋

I didn’t tell many when I finished my program, because I don’t know how to celebrate myself and didn’t think it was a big deal. Oh but it is. This is only a fraction of the story that is to unfold and my act of service on this earth. I did it to complete what I began. The story behind this degree is resilience and my faith in God through Jesus Christ and his strength in my weakness. I dedicate this degree to my kids and those who need the motivation to complete what you began no matter what age. Finish what you started and leave your mark on this earth. YOU GOT THIS! My name is Tanesha, I am a single parent and a 36-year-old woman that will be 37 in November and I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts In Psychology. The saga continues ✌🏾♥️🦋

Let’s Talk: Don’t Stop

Sometimes they can’t see you when you are close
Sometimes people don’t see what they have in an individual until they see you from a distance

Pastor Simeon Moultrie

I know it’s hard. I know it’s been tough. I know you may feel undervalued, but DON’T STOP! I get every part of wanting to give up and not wanting to push on, but rather it’s a purpose (your Why) of raising kids, building a business, running a physical race, finishing school a hardship in marriage, or other relationships. If you believe it’s going to get better continue. If you feel like giving up…Tanesha’s, here to remind you of who’s you are.

remember your why.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 King James Version

11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Remember, you are not alone. Your story your testimony will help someone through one day. Our life is about being a living testament to someone. You are stronger than you realize.

You are valuable….You are a reflection of God’s unveiled glory. You are golden, You are worthy, You are the prize.

Although, this quote may not be ideal for your situation… fill in the parts that make it yours… I want to give up as a creator sometimes, but I heard Holy Spirit say:

keep writing…keep creating…keep doing it… initially, someone will see it or hear it…all we need is the one… not the masses… if we can affect the one… that’s all that matters.

Holy Spirit Whispers to me

I leave you with this: keep using your gifts… God’s light will shine.. just worry about being obedient.

Heart Posture

I have been so irritated, annoyed, uncomfortable, distraught, pouting..etc.,… for the past couple of days… not only that…there has been a major shift in my life…
what do you do when you want to tap out(give up), be angry, sit in your mess, be sad..etc.,…
First, acknowledge how you feel and then you remember what God says about you. All things work together for our good of those who love him and are called by HIS purpose.

Romans 8:28
King James Version
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Remember your why and most of all remember your WHO. Don’t forget to look up and trust the LORD with all your heart. Surrender. Check your heart posture. Worship, be grateful, humble yourself, pray. Remember

YOU WIN✌🏾♥️🦋.
