Let’s Talk: Watch Your Mouth

This message was inspired by something I’ve been going through for almost 2 years and a dream i had the other night…
The enemy doesn’t know anything but our past and our present…..our future is a mystery…. And all the info he has is what we speak… Our present and past… And that we belong to the father and what the word says about us. because the enemy knows the word (which a lot of us don’t study) he knows that God works everything for our good….So his job is to distract us with our past and present andhave us anxious about the future…(cloudy)…Doubtful… Angry…. Reckless or Busy… So that we don’t focus on His promises and the words God says are true in his word….God is not an author of confusion. The thing is God is so solid he knows the beginning and end… that is why we can confidently rest in him and his promises…It’s important to speak life and those things that God has promised in his word and to you… Speak life no matter what your situation may look like… Remember that praise and gratefulness confuses the enemy. The enemy knows what we speak out of our mouths and our patterns… think about it when you have an opponent or an adversary more than likely they have studied your every move and even paid attention to your weaknesses. The best thing is to get into your word pray so that God can reveal you to you and show you how to move. Energy is real and when you pollute your atmosphere with negativity by actions or your words…your world will flow how you set it…. meaning words have power… energy has power. If we want to change our circumstances speak to them… Those things that our pure, lovely, admirable, noble true (Philippians 4:8). No matter how your current situation looks there is always an ending or a beginning…. speak life…satan only knows what you give him access too…draw near to God… stay under his pavilion and protection..trust the God in you for the direction(s) to take…remember you only trust God as much as you know him…don’t allow your current situation to determine your future destination…confuse the enemy with your praise, prayer, worship and positive affirmations.

I love you

Let’s Talk: Perspective

As I am exiting this interesting…evolving…stretching…tumultuous… yet necessary season… I pray for those who are going through or entering a season of faithing it… doubt… turmoil and questioning…GO THROUGH IT!!!… God is with you and has made provisions….fix your perspective and trust the process. Pray continuously and walk in faith even if you don’t know if it’s completely the right way…God says in his word just go!!! Know that where ever you go…left or right he is there…just incline unto his voice. Isaiah 30:21..be still when you need to and continue walking. Faith…prayer…praise…worship and thankfulness….will get you through

#perspective…
it’s all about perspective… According to minister google…
“Perception is what you interpret. It is your understanding of a given situation, person, or object. It is the meaning you assign to any given stimulus. Perspective is your point of view.”
In Psychology, perspective is usually divided into at least 5 concepts biological (genes, body, hormones), psychodynamic (Id, ego, superego, unconscious behaviors) behavioral (environmental motivation/influence). Cognitive (decision making, emotions, processes of the mind, etc.), and humanistic (whole being)… These perspectives show how we view human behavior and understand life through emotions, conflict, and thoughts. As we gain perspective rather through life experiences or environmental influences our understanding shifts rather for the betterment or detriment.
As we evolve and hopefully gain a broader perspective… we realize things aren’t always what it actually seems but how you interpret them…. this could mean life…relationships… or vision…
when we begin to see things from God’s perspective we gain clarity…however, even then you will never know the full picture because we aren’t sovereign only the Lord is.
To shift your perspective or better your perspective…
Speak…LIFE… into your atmosphere…walk in silence–until it is time to speak… (it is best to listen and gain understanding in this place)…trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding…Proverbs 3:5-6. Leaning to our own understanding hinders one’s perspective. As you grow in faith you will learn to lean unto what God says and trust that his ways are not our ways… nor his thoughts our thoughts Isaiah 55:8-9. The Lord has a broader understanding more broader than we could ever imagine. We can have a depth of great understanding… however, it will never equate to the knowledge of God. My challenge to you is to change your perspective.
I know life can be unbearable and everything you do pushes against your efforts to stay the course…but you must remember you don’t have to face it alone…examine your life and focus not on your current situation or circumstances…but remember the situations that you thought you would never overcome… the adversities you had to face and how you overcame them…that alone should have given you a broader perspective that God will never leave you nor forsake you.

Remember this:
God chooses whom he chooses…you don’t know how things will work out…however, you can be encouraged knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love him and who are called according to his purpose.
Whatever you are going through… look at it from God’s perspective. No matter what has happened in your life… know that the all-knowing God works everything in the favor of those who love him…he will get the glory out of the situation. He sees every detail of every situation…as we walk through life it is more about trusting that he knows the beginning from the end and we are just walking through it as physical beings as well as spiritual beings.
You will see goodness in the land of the living
Psalm 27:13-14

Ask yourself this:
Examining yourself… how do you see yourself? Is your perspective obscured because of life’s circumstances?… We need a clear vision to see from God’s point of view…We see things from our point of view… our life experiences… and that is where we get it wrong.

Proverbs 16:9 ESV

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Speak this:
I am the head I am not the tail Deut 28:13
I am above not beneath Deut. 28:13
I am seen Genesis 16:13
God knows my name Isaiah 43:1
I am not forgotten 1 peter 1:2

Prayer:
Lord,
change our perspective so that we can see things through the eyes of you. We need help to see things without an obscured viewpoint. Create in us a clean heart and renew in us a right spirit. Lord your word says: that you will be with us and we aren’t forsaken… therefore, we are never alone and can cast our cares on you. Forgive us father for leaning unto our own understanding. Guide our footsteps and make our paths plain. We surrender our way of thinking and trust your sovereignty/omniscience…thank you father for loving us and being so true, solid, and never changing, but ever revealing. We honor you father and thank you… in Jesus’ name we pray amen.

Let’s Talk: Anxiety Triggers

What I’ve learned about anxiety is that it comes from overthinking and things we consume; whether it’s through: our eye gate, ear gate, or mouth gates the future is always what we are thinking about. Thinking about things we can not control causes us to become overwhelmed or creates procrastination because the thoughts are so overwhelming. This is not making an excuse, but anyone who has ever dealt with anxiety understands how it can be daunting. I have learned that planning for the future and thinking about it is ok, However, worrying about the future and the past including the guilt, shame, and animosity it may contain… can consume us and cling to us can also create anxiety. We must know that the present is important it’s a gift. We must learn to bask in the moment and if that moment is horrid… don’t escape it…feel…pause… pray… take a breath and release. Know that God has you and he desires what’s best for us. Trust him don’t be anxious. Anxiety is fear of the unknown and relying on your own strength. God desires to help us. You may not understand: how, when, or where, but relinquish those anxious thoughts to “the one” who knows the beginning from the end. I get it… I promise. I am not only talking to you, but I am talking to me as well. Take a deep breathe in… hold… breathe out…and pause. Trust the Lord and lean not unto your own understanding. He knows the future and plans he has for you not to harm you but to give you hope. Jeremiah 29:11 and Romans 5:5.

I want to pray for those who suffer with anxiety or anything that is attached to it I also want to pray for those who are unbelievers. God is an anchor. Jesus died for our sins and promised to never leave us nor forsake us. God is the truth and he cares about everything concerning us. Just release reach out to him daily. For unbelievers the bible says if you confess with your mouth and believe in heart that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. Romans 10:9-10 & John 3:18.

I leave you with this:

The Lord is our anchor…He cares and his word says to cast our cares upon him, because he cares ( 1 Peter 5:7).

I Love You!!!
